          Menadier Engineering is a full-service civil engineering and land surveying firm based in Alachua, Florida, dedicated to delivering innovative and practical solutions for both public infrastructure and private development projects.           Under the leadership of our Chief Executive Officer and Principal Engineer, William “Bill” Menadier, PE, we’ve expanded our services beyond traditional engineering design to include expertise in securing project funding through grants, enabling our clients to realize large-scale projects. Bill brings over 20 years of experience in project management, permitting, and client relations. His extensive background includes collaboration with agencies such as the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the Florida Department of Transportation, providing us with a unique advantage in efficiently navigating regulatory frameworks.

Mr. Menadier has extensive professional engineering experience in commercial and residential land development, land planning, utility design and stormwater analysis throughout the state of Florida. His primary responsibilities include managing projects through the survey, design, permitting and construction stages.  As project manager, Mr. Menadier has developed a strong working relationship with 

various agency personnel; Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Florida Department of Transportation, US Army Corp of Engineers, and various Water Management Districts. His experience also includes serving as a client manager to several municipalities ensuring excellent customer service and client satisfaction.  He has managed continuing services contracts throughout central, north, and northwest Florida. Bill Menadier, PE is a dedicated leader with a proven history of commitment to those he serves.  It is important to understand each client’s vision for the future to best serve them and our leader is dedicated to following through.  Menadier Engineering has unprecedented experience from the field to the executive suite; built on a solid foundation of surveying, engineering, and permitting knowledge; punctuated by political client management experience throughout the State.

William “Bill” Menadier, PE

 

Bill Menadier is the Principal Engineer and founder of Menadier Engineering, bringing over 20 years of experience in civil engineering, project management, and land development. A native of Ocala, Florida, Bill earned both is Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering degrees from the University of Florida. Throughout his career, he has developed strong working relationships with key regulatory agencies, including the Florida Department of Transportation and multiple Water Management Districts.
 
Bill’s career has always been driven by the belief that engineering is more than just technical expertise – it’s about building trust and relationships. He founded Menadier Engineering from a home office with a vision: to create a firm that prioritizes integrity, client success, and community impact. Over the years, through hard work and relationships he cultivated, Menadier Engineering has grown into a trusted, word-of-mouth recommended civil engineering firms in North Central Florida.
 
A Leader in the Community 
Bill’s passion for civil engineering extends beyond the office – he is deeply invested in the communities he serves. He is an active member of the Alachua Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Gainesville Sunrise, organizations dedicated to fostering economic growth, leadership, and service. Additionally, Bill sits on local Planning and Zoning boards, ensuring that responsible, forward-thinking development benefits both residents and businesses.
